4.30's in a 6 speed. lol Hope you don't get behind me, Mines got 4.10's with a Spec 3 and it takes some getting used to. My advice, go with 3.73 and have a easy to drive car.

You know I never leave my LS1s stock! I just wanted the appearance completed first.

I've owned several LS1 f-bodies, all 6-speeds, many different gear ratios. If anything the 4.30s are more drivable with a heads/cam setup. 3.73s are perfect when you have a stroker though. Personally, I wouldn't go with less than a 4.11 with a heads/cam car. I had 3.42s in my convertible and that sucked (heads/cam). Talk about BOG city!

I definitely look forward to hearing about your projects! that twin turbo 408 is going to be sick! That is where I want to go with my ws6. To a LME 408 and then a turbo setup like Trans Zam. His car is smokin!

As far as appearance goes, after my new wheels I'm going to put DMS springs on it, and try to find a good deal on an SS hood. Window tint, of course, is a must.

dang, old thread

I decided to leave the hugger SS mostly stock for now. This is so I can concentrate on the drag car project and not be tempted to work on the hugger.

It is stock except for Hooker longtubes, offroad Y, and a lid. I have a cam and springs to put into it, but no time lately.
