Besides needing some more prep work sanding and what not it looks just like what you asked for. Whats the big deal. The over all design is what you asked for comparing the different sets of pics. Just have it sanded and prepped. Personally I don't like the real version either but to each is own.

Not to jack your thread extreme but what happened with those LED's? I was waiting to get some in my TA but then the whole deal just... faded away..

If you where to see it in person I think you would revise your statement. Two body shops actually asked it the guy was blind.

Its cool man. Well the other LED's never turned up, and so many people wanted them that there was no way in hades I could keep up with demand and keep cost at a reasonable balance. I also have been tring to deal with the fruit cake and the spoiler. Shoot me a PM.

I know what you mean but the over all shape looks the same. They can't sand it better and prep it to get all the blemishes ridges, and grooves out?

actually the general idea is there, but the form is not. the spoiler does NOT confrom to the car natural style like the MMS does not to mention this spoiler wants to come to a peak in the center unlike the MMS which keeps to the same flatness as the stock Trans Am spoiler. The sides where the curved parts are DO NOT curve naturally and look flattened. The spoiler actually now weights so much that you have to struggle to lift the hatch and the factory shocks WILL NOT help or hold. If you also look at the top deck A LOT of sanding would need to be done to match the MMS spoiler.

I do appreciate your optimistic view however.

Did the person who made this spoiler not take into consideration that with this spoiler, the power ant. does not look like it will go up any more. Looks like he did not pay attention to that detail

That does look heavy, I was wondering if it would be able to stay up. I know the Mecham Spoiler has trouble staying up too

looks like the pictures to me *shrug*

Looks like this one...

And this angle..

Looks like this angle...

But.. the thing could have been sanded and smoothed more. If it were painted, at least by the pics, it would look damn near identical to it. Which IMHO (which is just my opinion) the one you are mimicking is fugly... looks like a oddly shaped pancake flopped over a T/a spoiler. Much like your unfinished version.

Maybe you now realise that the design itself is awful so you are seeing the "best" in the origional pics and the "worst" in the mock spoiler.

Again its my opinion on the spoiler, whatever you like it great and if it would make you happy then AWESOME!

But.. looks the same to me

The spoiler looks nothing the same and I have had 2 Professionals and countless others agree with me. All in all you are right though... It is you opinion.

I would like to just make sure EVERYONE understands this.

By no means am I or would I say anything negative about Christians work. He is a GREAT guy, and has a wonderful spoiler on his hands. It just so happened that the one that I had recieved had some issues, but he was more than willing to resolve them and ship me another. My wife and I did in fact give up on the whole issue and that is why we chose to returned Christians spoiler. At that point I was done, but a little bit after that the same body shop told me about this local guy. Its my dumb A** that thought this local guy could build what I wanted.

It actually is sad that Christian took a break from the buisness. He truely does have GREAT work available.
