What I did with mine is I put the headlight in the oven for 20 minutes, and then with the silicone warm I took a flathead screwdriver and took the lens off and the scraped all the old silicone off with that screwdriver. Painted it and then re-siliconed. I don't know about superglue working, it sounds to me that water would somehow leak in there.

Just whatever you do make sure you use a lot of adhesive that way it's impossible for water to seap through.

The end result is always worth it:

What temp does the oven have to be set at, do you have to pre heat it or anything?

yes you do and just take a flathead screwdriver and scrape it all out. It's pretty easy.

I'd probably use a butter knife instead than a flathead. Probably a little easier to control, and its not as hard edged as a flathead but if you're careful a flathead would probably work well.

Yes, not that I have a Camaro, but anything you will be "re-sealing, or glueing" you want the surface to be smooth, and clean for the adhesive to work it's best! Good luck! Brian nice lookin Camaro though buddy...

I knew what you were sayin. Im sure some people out there will get over zealous w/ a flathead and end up scratchin or breakin something, thats the only reason I'd recommend something else first. But both of 'em work.
