got my cowl hood
got my cowl hood I got a cowl hood, but I got a 2" instead of a 4". Got a really good deal on one. We tried to put stock bolts in it though and they're too big, so all the nuts stripped inside, couldn't get the bolts in and couldn't get them back out. You'd think we would have stopped at the first, but we tried all of them. Ended up having to drill holes and stick a wrench in the hole to get a hold of the inside nut. This was a 10 minute project that turned into a 3 hour thing

Exactly what happened. And I know I need the pics but I'm getting the hood painted tomorrow and I'll take the pics then. I just couldn't wait to get the hood on my car until then.

individually, i bought it off someone who had it sitting there. he decided to go with a different hood, so i got lucky. oh, and btw, he lives like 2 minutes from my job, so I got to pick it up at lunch yesterday.
Or in this case saves you time and money.
