Default Rear fill-in question

Hey guys. I just got my Berger Panel back from the body shop, and was pondering what to do next. I'm thinking throw the red bowtie back on there with no "Z28", and get the silver fill-ins for the front and back from Afterthoughts Auto. I was just wondering if anyone knows whether they fill in the whole letter, i.e. is it flush with the rest of the panel? Or do I need to get them from RKSport?

The car is silver, btw.

Either shave the "Camaro" and put a 69 Z28 emblem there or fill it in with the stainless or black inserts.

I actually didn't have the panel shaved because I like the stock look better. I borrowed a friend's panel that's the same as mine while it was being painted.

I also don't want stainless steel. It's just too "bling" for me.

Mainly to see if anyone knows the thickness of the Afterthoughts Auto Fill-Ins. Sorry I should have been more specific, it's late...

Like 1sicv6 said, the vinyl letters are paper thin and will be recessed and the stainless steel are thick enough to be flush.

Do the silver fill-ins on the 35th anniversary editions fit flush?

I found some prices on GM Parts direct. $46.13 for the front grille and rear fascia. If they fit right, I'll get them.

Anybody know?
