Need opinions about custom interior project
Need opinions about custom interior project The point of this thread: I'm contemplating mounting a badge from a 69 Z-28 on a custom dash that I've made for my 95 Z-28, and after the car is finished it will be the ONLY badge on the entire car. I also have an SS rear spoiler. Here's what I need opinions about: if I mount the SS spoiler, but then have a Z-28 badge on the dash, do you think that's going to "offend" anyone? I know alot of people who are pretty hardcore when it comes to SS's and their lineage, and I know just as many people who are hardcore about the first gen F bodies. If you decided that one could stay but the other had to go, which one would you keep and which one would you throw out? Or would you keep them both?
Sounds like a good plan to me. As long as you don't put the SS badges on it and "pose" theres not a problem. I have the second gen fender badges on mine.

This is the way I see it.
If you're adding a hood or spoiler from an SS to a Z28 I dont find it offensive or wrong in the least. Its just adding to the apperance of your ride. Now adding an SS badge to a Z28, thats going to cause some flames. But in the end, its just a spoiler so who cares. If someone gets pissed they're too uptight.

I see some of the Corvette faithful get mad when they see the Corvette FRCs on my 'bird. I personally just shrug it off, and actually it makes me like the FRCs on the car even more
