Anyone ever done in it in a F-body and know what it would take?

It's an interesting idea, find someone to cut out the midsection, make it smooth and reweather strip it, then you could take the glass out of 2 T-tops, and have a glass shop make a full size one just using the original T top pieces

??

it be nice if you could just take it out then a vette top would fit but nothing can ever work that easy

I'll be wrapping mine up in about 7 days as soon as I can get my compressor fixed the teflon piston seal is out, so it wont hold pressure as soon as I can shoot paint, I'll post pics....

Whistler was the first, and coined my inspiration yes, but I've sent him numerous PM's and what not, and didn't get any help, nor pointers. I can understand wanting to keep it rare, but I offered money, as well as housing, Ooo well I'm willing to do it for people...

whistler was the first, and one of the only that i know of. i respect that he doesnt share the secrects. the targa looks so good on f-bods. the only reason i havent done it ,is making the top one piece.i dont drive my car in weather but want to keep it sealed up when parked. what are you doing XXX? i remember whistler carbon fibering a one piece out of his t-tops. good luck. iam glad some one else is doing this.
