MBA Shift **** removal

I've got a an A4 Z28 with the mba billet shift ****. I've lost my instructions and searched the forums. How the hell do i take this thing off???

Posted in the A4 section with no real result...

Just turn it counter clockwise, it should spin right off. If you wanna take the adapter off as well you are going to need allen wrenches to take out the 2 small screws holding it in place. It's real simple.
