SLP Ultra Z... looks like the RS, and some of the other spoilers (looks like someone had some plastic and glue lying around and decided to entertain themselves)

if you want to have something nice, but something that not many other people have (this is what i want to do) is to get an LT1 SS spoiler... dosent have the middle supports, looks MUCH cleaner..

Here's mine, it's the Freedom Design Spoiler

If you go by that logic, then you could say "If you want a 70-81 camaro, then buy a 70-81 camaro" about your spoiler. Being seperate from the situation, I like the ss spoiler the best. But all the ones posted are nice.

The only spoiler i like is the ss, I have the rs on my car since it came with the car and it does the job, but id much rather have the ss.

I really think it's weird that on a car where a spoiler would actually be helpful, most of them look like crap.

I've clicked through a few galleries of aftermarket wings, and man, there is just nothing.

There are a few wings like this

That would look great on paper, but look like crap in real life. I dunno, what are you guys' opinions on these tall wings? Looks off to me, but really there is no choice other than OEM or 3 piece addon spoilers.

I can't wait to get my spoiler painted now. That looks awesome ProjectCamaro!

And to answer your question ritz, yes I used to, but I hated it.

Ive always felt the SS spoiler just flowed better. Its not over-the-top, and its not too subtle. The Ultra Z, LG spoiler and all the other "superwings" just look out of place IMO. The SS spoiler gives more flow w/o the added flair.

I have got to say OEM is the best looking IMO. I had higher hopes of the ultra-z spoiler as far as looks go but its too akward, and the other wings are just too big for my taste. I do like the retro appeal of project camaro's wing but I just cant get over the size. About how much does that wing stick out from the quarter pannels and wing 5-6 inches? Maybe it just looks bigger in these pics anyone have other pics of this wing?

I definitely agree. And even if the '98-'02 SS spoiler didn't come with the SS, I wouldnt get it anyway. That middle divider just ruins it. With that said, I would probably go with the Mecham Z29R spoiler:

It'll curve like the 98+ SS spoiler, but is a little higher and curves up more. There is no ugly middle divider. Also, it might make it easier to clean and polish the underside of the spoiler and the area beneath it.

Mecham's a nice spoiler, but damned expensive from what I've heard.

I'd go with that too. I don't like the middle divider on my 98+ SS spoiler, but i got it so cheap and already painted black. I couldn't pass it up.

it seems like whatever spoiler you pick you are gonna look like some other car, just get the OEM SS spoiler.

Im just curious but is their any difference between the Mecham Spoiler, and the 96-97 SS Spoiler? Im also in the market for a new spoiler, and the Mecham looks decent but I cant tell the difference if their is one.

Right now for the look I want its either the Freedom Design 3" "Duck Tail" stlye or a 96-97 SS style.
