Great meeting some of the crew at VFN, I can't even begin to describe what a great group they are. I will never even look at buying from another company.
I have to say that the hood looks 100x better in person than it does on any picture. When I stopped by to test fit the hood I wasn't sure if I wanted that hood or the 3" SS hood but as soon as Armando laid it on my car I fell it love. I can't imagine my car any other way now, I can't even stop thinking or telling people about the hood.
Here's a photoshop a friend did for me of how I want to paint the hood.
I don't own the hood yet though, so if you want to donate to the hood fund just let me know

Oh, it's not shown in any of the pictures but VFN put a screen on the back of the cowl so it's not just a boring opening. I don't have any pictures of it myself but I was really impressed with it, I know I'm not doing a good job of describing it but you'll have to see it to understand how good it does look.
Sorry but I just can't stop saying enough good things about this hood. That's why I didn't mind driving 2.5 hours on a rare Saturday off for me to test fit this hood.
My '94 Camaro has VFN's 4" cowl induction hood and the first year I owned it I drove the car through a Wisconsin winter every day and I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the hood. I was expecting some cracking in the paint, or at least some stress marks but I couldn't have been more wrong. By far the highest quality fiberglass hoods on the market. My body shop guy said he was shocked when he had to do so little prep work. He said with most fiberglass hoods he has a couple hours of prep work to get the hood to look good but it wasn't the case with my VFN hood.

It's coming soon. They're currently working on the mold, was yours for the 93-7 or for the 98 and up?
Phoenix~ We gladly give all members of the ls1tech board 10% off our products. Unfortunately on the fenders, we have to pass on these. If we do the fenders, everything else would need to follow (nose, front fenders, doors) as these are all different then stock. We are a pretty small company and are not able to tackle that much of a project at this time.
Thanks to Project Camaro for traveling so far to help us test fit this hood We had a few guys back out on us when it was time to test fit, but he drove all the way from Wisconsin to help us out!
The photo shop of the hood looks awesome!! Thanks for all the great comments you made about our products

i think the reason that people want fenders is not only for the look, but also to get rid of the easyly dented stock metal ones. you wouldnt have to advertise them as sunoco style, just a widebody style fender for larger width rear rims/tires. just a thought tho. sorry if this is getting annoying now, id just like some fenders damn it. lol

That's how we painted my Fathers car back in May, Origional VFN Sunoco Hoow w/o the crease in the middle of the hood. You car will look great when you get it all painted.
