Body kits are out of the question. You'll still have that gross fender gap, so lower it first then see if you have room for a body kit if you want to go that way.

Get yourself the desired drop that you want and some decent shocks. (ex: Bilstiens or Konis)

If you like the look of the car with the ground effects, keep them and lower it anyway. You will have to be more cautious when driving around, but I don't see that as a bad thing. Taking rough streets and speed bumps slower will only keep your car riding better, longer. If you do opt to keep the gfx's you definitly need to get the front pieces, the car looks ridiculous without them. Also, I have lt's on my z as well as lowering springs and the only time I ever scrape is on high speed bumps, which I can usually avoid by going at an angle. Anyway, here are a few pics of my old camaro that had gfx's and was lowered with the eibach prokit. I had the car for over 2 years and had only a few light scratches on the front pieces, so you damn sure dont need to have them repainted every 6 months if you know how to drive.

I don't know ... I'm not really into the whole bodykit thing. I think the F-Bodies look a lot better W/O the bodykits. To each his own however ...

Do both...A friend of mine has a 00' z28 with the oem ground effects as well as some eibachs....His car looks awesome...but up close, u can tell how lowering. the car took a toll on the body kit...i.e. scrapes, missing screws...etc.

I'm going to say bodykit just because your car doesn't look right with the sides and rear pieces but not the front.

I used to have the body kit, and I took it off. It's costing me a lot to get everything filled in and repainted, but in my opinion, these cars look so much cleaner without them. Good luck, it's YOUR car. Lowering it will definitely make a HUGE difference!

For the factory appearance package to look right the car absolutly has to be lowered. Buy some springs, replace the front peices and the car will look badass for sure. I've never had a problem with the factory peices bottoming out. However, my WW front peice likes to drag on decel at the track, so I had to modify it alittle.

Just take out your rear spring isolators and and get some konis for the front for a 3/4 in drop. Don't get a body kit! They may look good at first but if its a daily driver you'll regret having to be all dainty driving your camaro around. I know I do.
