Default Poll: Lower car or Body kit

THIS IS AN OLD THREAD THE CAR NOW LOOKS LIKE THIS......
THANKS FOR THE INPUT

I cant decide what would be more cost effective and make the car look better, lowering the car or putting on a body kit.

My car came with a body kit when I bought it, though it was missing the front piece so I think it looks pretty dumb. So what do you think would look the best.

I am really against lowering. (Bad Experience) I would get a bodykit and put bigger tires. The roads really sucks in the city that i live in.

Ever seen a Z06 (or vette) dropped a few inches?

Ever see anything that looks as agressive?

You have my answer.

I would lower it but I think you are going to get a pretty even arguement on either side of this...

It looks like you have the sport appearance package now. I'd say lower it because with that package on it it won't take as much lowering to get an awesome look.

If you're looking for something to scrape on speed bumps, get a body kit. If you're looking to eat up that fender gap (and scrape on speed bumps ), lower it.

Truck magazines turned me off of body kits.

Lower it if anything.

I may be in a bit of a bind ehre though when the shop put my hooker catback on they welded everything in place.

(sorry pics are dark I'm hoping you can actually see the tubes)
If I take the body kit off I think it'll look pretty dumb with the exhaust tubes being so low from the body.

I don't like the body kit.

Word of warning, it's going to be next to impossible to lower it AND go with long tubes. It's one or the other. That is what prevented me from dropping my car, the tubes sit barely 2-3" from the ground as it is!
