...since when were halos considered rice...? My god this whole "rice" stuff is so ****** old. Every single thing that people call rice anymore used to be the HOT thing to do back in the day, so why is it now it's rice? I mean ****, look at the Superbird... oh, but tall wings are rice. Underbody neons? Last I remember, mopars used to sport them like crazy back in the muscle car days.. Everything that's considered rice was created back in the 60's and 70's and was the hot thing to do. Now, because the "ricers" took over and started doing that, everyone can't stand it.

Do whatever YOU like, my god look at your car! That sig pic is sick, you obviously don't have some slow car, and yet you're worried about halos being rice?

Hell no Halo's aren't rice. If there's anything rice it would be your hood and body kit....but rice is such a loose term used today to describe something somebody finds distastefull or unattractive in THEIR eyes.

The rear tires by the way are my stock 99 Camaro rims... They are a little lighter than the chrome. I get only possitive comments on the hood in real life, I have been really happy with it, and its functional. Thanks for the comments about the halos, I dont want my car to look like its over the edge but I think those halo lights could be cool... My girlfriend was thinking about buying me headlights for my birthday so I am not sure which one she will buy.

Yeah, the exaggerated use of the term 'rice' is pretty funny. A jillion years ago we used the term 'rice burner' which jokingly referred to Asian cars with 4 cylinder engines that ran on rice alcohol (cause they make all kinds of stuff out of rice over there, including alcohol).

Maybe we could stick to the current accepted definition of 'ricer' which refers to cars (usually Japanese) which have modifications (ofter exagerated modifications) that make the car appear like a high performance automobile when in reality these modifications offer no real performance gains.

Using this definition, I don't think headlights would qualify.

Well, just because they ain't rice don't mean they look good. Personally, I'm not a big fan of halos. But they look alright I guess.

I like em... I'm not a big fan of "ram air" hoods on Camaro's tho... just a personal opinion.

I think they're cool but, I wouldn't put them on my car. I think they degrade the asthetics of the car. Like the 4th gen tail lights. The '93-'97 tails are, asthetically speaking, better than the '98-'02 because they follow the body lines. The '98-'02 tails completely ignore the body lines. Same deal with the Halos. JMO

I like them, I would get them if my car looked like yours. I think they add a touch of class, since they are a BMW-originated design. (Not that BMW's are, per se, classy, but the ones with the Halo's are pretty awesome looking coming at ya')

I have to agree with the comment about the hood thought, it just looks like a WS-6 humped a Camaro and they gave birth to your car.

Don't take it personal though, I have a WS-6 and love the style of the hood, just not on the smoother lines of the Camaro. You still have a really good looking car, I would have gone with a different hood is all.

Just my personal opinion, it's only worth however mad it makes you.

Hmm, I never noticed that before- they do break up the continuity lines from the hood. I guess that's why I prefer the headlights with the blackened housing:

Agreed I personally dont like the hood because as already mentioned it breaks up the smooth lines that a Camaro has. I feel the same way about the Halos, while a badass idea in their own right, I just dont like the way they match up with stock Camaro body lines. But you could definetly get away with them since you have a WS6 hood.
