Pink lights??? WTF?

so i ordered so called "red" cold cathode lights to put in the nose of my hood, and there freaking pink! is there anything i can do besides ordering new bulbs.

Red theater gel will do it. its hard to get a true red out of CCLs.

Yep, thats what i heard it was called someone used it on their CCL (in their computer BTW) to get a truer red from the CCL that is closer to pink than he liked. its a gel that can be applied to materials so that hte light coming through gets filtered to only the red spectrum. don't know how impervious to water it is thou.
