Hey guys im looking for a trans am hatch with spoiler for my firebird, and ive noticed that the salvage yards have some that are hatches with bolted on spoilers and hatches with molded on spoilers. From the sound of it, i can tell thje difference, but i wanted to make sure that both are okay. Is the molded one better, i would think so. Help me out here. Thanks

Actually, the molded spoiler was used on some of the LT1 T/A's, and the high-rise spoiler was apparently an option through some of the earlier years. There is one Trans Am around here with a hardtop and the molded spoiler, in Green-Gray Metallic. I' ll bet not many of those cars exist. This one is unfortunately trashed.

You could be right, I really have no idea. Although since the aforementioned T/A is Green-Gray Metallic, that' s very possible. I know that color was available in 93-94, and maybe 95, but I' m not sure.

I bought my 1994 T/A with the low rise spoiler, in 1993 and 1994 the Trans Am GT came with the high rise spoiler. I ended up buying the hatch with the high rise spoiler a few months later anyway. The molded one looks boring.
