Default New pics of the SS, did some stuff this weekend

I ripped the rear panel off last week and did the Berger panel... added the stainless inserts and a Hurst Equipped emblem, have a set of '69 SS fender emblems on the way to go where the other ones were. I was thinking about ditching the taillights before... but now that I've finished this I think I might keep them, I kinda like the way it flows.

I threw in the MacEwen white face gauges and TA bezel, and a white Hurst **** and have some floormats and also a deckmat on the way from SLP because mine have seen better days.

Also took the molding off... we just realized the other day that when the car was in the shop after it got wrecked they never put the short molding on the right fender, under the SS emblem. Once we noticed that it just looked way weird everytime I looked at it and we HAD to get it off.

And finally last but not least... we polished the out of it.

Enough talking... here are the pics!

I think if the taillights didn't have the silver outline around each light it wouldn't too bad at all. The outline just kinda throws it off. Nonetheless car looks good.

Your car has a great throwback theme going with the Cragers, Hurst stuff, and the accents. Those tailights just dont fit into that scheme IMO. I'd ditch them and maybe pick up some stockers and some nightshades and run tinted stock lights, if you just couldn't live with the factory offerings. Very nice car though.

The car is beautiful... IMO, those headlights just don't match, like they don't fit or something... And I don't like the blue bow tie on your grill either... But love the car

Car looks great man. I've never been a fan of the Euro-style taillights for F-bodies but, those look better than most. I'll tell what would look kick-***…

Put some '93-'97 taillights on it and then coat only the red part of the lens with the Nightshade. That would really look sweet with the Berger-ized panel.

Those tailights are pretty hideous...and the blue bowtie on the grill doesn't really fit in. Of course I'm only pointing out what doesn't look good. Any V8 fbod looks good to me!

You know, the tail lights really aren't that bad, it's the LENSE that ruins it. I have the carbon fiber euros on mine, and I liked the look when they lit up, but the lense just looked cheap. I bought VHT Nightshades and tinted mine, it really turned out good. Maybe try doing a really light coating on your taillights you have now and see how it looks. If you don't like it, nailpolish remover will fix it.
