Default Door panel pulling away from door frame!!!

Whats the best way to fix this problem? My door panel is pulling away from the door at the rear most edge, on the upper half. Has anybody repaired this? How did you do it? I tried fiberglassing it, and that didn't work. It may have been because the fiberglass mix was really old. Please help, it looks like ****!! Thanks.

I tried 5 minute epoxy, but that didn't work. I took it to a body shop and they used some sort of body panel adhesive, that didn't work either.

yahh, my car has been like this for a couple years. most people dont notice, but it pisses me off. Ive tried epoxy, construction adhesive, fiberglass, etc.... I think fiberglass will work, the last stuff just never cured. Do you cruise around M59 at all? I have had quite a few races there. Lots of fun.

Yeah, m59 is about a mile north of me. I normally keep it cool though, because there's also a lot of cops around.

Take it to a dealer bodyshop, or a good shop that carries the 3M adhesive. We just fixed a 94 Bird the other day with the same issue. We use the 3M stuff that GM recommends and let it cure 24hrs clamped. We don't offer a warranty because the problem will come back sooner or later.

I just used some JB Weld, so far so good. Just thought I'd update that this stuff works, as after I let it cure for 24 hours, I've opened and shut the door atleast 20 times in a row and it was very solid and still holding together. Although I only figure it'll stay that way for maybe 6 months total, but hey for the 1/4th tube of JBWeld no biggie.

Unfortunately I never took pics of the problem. It's the skin of the door (the outside fiberglass, the painted part you actually see) and the metal shell which it attaches to. Only pics I have to show for it, are that in any pics showing the driver side from the rear, you can see the door buldging out a little bit.
