Headlight bulb recomendations?
Headlight bulb recomendations? Ive heard there are cheaper and brighter solutions to Silverstars, such as these Nokyas on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOKYA...00933160QQrdZ1
It is to my understanding that the stock plus can handle up to 130 watts, but in another thread i have heard of 120 watt bulbs smoking when plugged in. Any suggestions?
Also, the bulb replacement numbers are 9005 and 9006, right? Seems like Ive heard a few mentioning 893s or something like that.

Silverstars are way better than that factory ****.i put the high and low beams last week and they are worth the money also i went with eurodezins 894 fog light bulbs from ebay they are just as white as silverstars.silverstars does not make the fog lamp bulbs i think

There isn't anything worthwhile that's cheaper than silverstars. Everything else is just a blue painted bulb. Unless "nokya" has changed their plan those suck too. A buddy of mine went through three sets of those on his legacy gt. If you want good light output then spend some cash on an HID setup from another vehicle with some projector lenses retro'd into your stock housings.
