Default tach mounted *PIC*

so how does it look?? i just cut a 7"x2" piece of aluminum drilled for some holes and waala.

what are you a cop? lol looks good...does it wobble?? i see you have a coil cord push/release switch...i want one bad...do you like it? also does that "thingy" on your shift **** hold the switch when your not using it?? thats pretty nifty...where did you get that if you dont mind me asking...looks self fabicated! anyho looks awesome

Looks good, but ( not meaning to be sarcastic, this is a sincere question as newbish as it is ) what's the point of an extra tach?

the switch is for the t brake, it's permantly mounted to that bracket which is a piece of angle aluminum that is drilled for the switch. very simple to make

i have manual valve body which means i have to shift it myself. so i bought a tach that should be more accurate than a stock one and it has a shift light that i need..

oh tumblrws6 the laptop doesn't move around at all it's a something i made at home too. but it's not mounted in the car when at the track. i don't wanna get smack in the face you know.

Point of the extra tach is that the stock tach is slow. For example when I am really getting into it, my stock tach will register about 200 rpms less
than my Autometer Tach as the rpms are rising quickly. This can be a problem if you're shifting as close to redline or as close to the rev limiter as possible. The other point is this and my tach both have a shift light which means you don't have to watch the tach to know when to shift, just see the light!!

I have a harlan shift light in muh vent for that.

Nice mounting job. I have the same laptop,lol. Im going to mount my tach on the right corner of the gauge cluster on the ring. I have a flip out screen in mine so where you have it it will hit.
