Default some car detailing questions

Along the front of my car I have the obvious dead bugs that I can't seem to get off when just washing my car with soap/water/sponge. Would a clay bar be the best to get this off or is there something else I should use? I notice clay bar's say "use only on a clean dry surface", well I washed the area, just can't get some of these things off.

Also what is the best product for my interior dash and trim? Is ArmorAll best for general cleaning?

Thanks

A good bug and tar remover product should help you out a lot. I use Turtle Wax's Bug & Tar Remover. If you can find the product made by Bars Leak called "Splatt", that's an awesome bug remover and the easiest to use.

Clay Bar on a dry surface? Read the instructions again or buy a better one, like Mother's, which comes with its own detailing spray to keep the area you're claybarring wet.

The Clay Bar is very abrasive. Give it a good coat of wax immediately when you're done because your paint will be vulnerable.
