Default Remove Ram Air Logo?

I was thinking about removing my ram air logos on my hood. Anybody done this? How should I go about doing it or should I not do it?

Use a heat gun or blowdrier if you have to and heat them up real well. Then take a thin piece of plastic or somethign similar or peel with your fingers. If they are warm enough they will come off quite easily just dont overheat and burn them. When removed clean the sticky residue off with rubbing alochol. If your paint is exposed to the sun a lot you will be able to tell a bit of fade but I put chrome ones over it so doesn't matter to me.

3m adhesive remover would make quick work of the ram air decals, and won't hurt your paint.

Ya maybe I will, seems alot of peeps like it better with them on. I might go with a red ones and do the front bird in red too, along with red Trans Am logos on the sides. I have seen a few peeps on here with a theme like that and always have liked the looks of that.

Screw what others may think. They'll just have to find out the hard way. I left mine off after one started to peel. Just never ordered new ones. I don't think it looks that bad. IMO it kind of cleans up the hood a little and makes the lines flow into the rest of the car.

They are easy enough to replace if you want to put them back on later. I took mine off with a hair dryer. A heat gun gets too hot and might scorch the paint. They will just lift right off. I put a whole different sceme on my car but if I did not do that I would have left them on.
