darkened taillights??

darkened taillights?? my left side taillight is considerably darker than the other. i noticed that it had water in it, so I dried it out and siliconed the seam along the side where it leaked in. anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore it's red color. I tried wiping the inside of the lens through the bulb socket holes, but it's not cleaning any of it out. Is it time for a new taillight???

Yep.... The moisture destroys the reflective coating on the back. The lense itself is fine, the dimness is from the reflective coating going to a better place. I have to get one my self.
