i bought most of my stuff from mcmaster, as it was dirt cheap for felts, sanding drums etc.

I have around 12hrs or so at the minumum in my waterpump... I still have around 4 more to get it where I want, but I doubt I'll go much more.... I'm too picky and want it looking like a mirror.
Did you do the timing cover/valley?
get one of those snazzy PS pulleys yet?

Grab some black/silver paint and get rid of that yellow dipstick too...

Yes I did the valley cover and timing cover. I don't want one of those billet ps pullies becasue it shows the ugly pump behind the pulley. The car isn't done yet, I still have tons more to do. The master cylinder is aluminum and the sterring shaft coming out of the firewall....details.

How do you plan on keeping it looking like that?
Once oxidation gets its hands on it, its going to be a bear to maintain.
It is sweet looking however.

It's not that bad. I can go two months and spend half a Saturday on it, or I can give it a once over every month or so and it won't be much work at all. I plan to buy the Zoop seal kit soon, so that will help some. Too bad Zoop doesn't work well with high heat... like an engine.

If I have enough willpower to get it to look like that, do you really think I'll be too lazy to spend an hour or two every so often?

I disassembled the tb. Polished the spring, and stuff seperately. They make a small "drill arbor" that little buff can be put on. Eastwood, a sponsor ===>

Thaks for the compliments everyone!

Well damnit man you ended up polishing your intake after all! Haha, just couldn't resist could you? (Heat soak? WHAT heat soak? ) Believe me I understand completely. Your rig turned out friggin sweet!

Your pics are inspiring me to kick it into overdrive and get this big chunk o' iron I'm wrestling with done. Thanks for the boost!

The only negative thing I can say about those pics are that the headers and yellow dipstick stand out like a sore thumb. What about some chrome or ceramic coated headers? With that said.....that looks amazing!
