Partial Whistler mod?
Has anyone only painted the front part when doing the Whislter headlight mod? If so, could you post some pics? I'm curious what it would look like with the front balck and the rest left alone. Thanks!

It looks the best on black cars.

Here is what you are talking about. Someone on here just got them. I don't remember his username though. He has a blue SS with Z06 wheels. He just got them and hasn't updated his sig yet.

Personally, I like it better with the top and bottom painted as well but I haven't seen these on cars besides that one car.

here's a couple pics of these lights, i have some better ones, but my computer at home got fried from a elec surge, and yes it was on a surge protector these will do for now though.
New Headlights
vs. Old whistler mod (but foggy lens's)
yes, i think the lights painted on the inside look better as well, but it does cut down on some visibility when you paint the entire reflector. i didnt really notice it so much until i got my new lights and saw the difference. but i like the looks of the full painted better either way, i may take the new ones apart and paint them entirely someday.

Here are a couple more pics of the ProCarParts 'black housing headlights'. The pictures on their website make them look 'blacker' than they actually are but overall I like them:
