Here in NC you just tell them you want a personalized plate. They ask you what would you like, and you get up to 8 characters. They type in the prospected plate, and if its approved you pay a bit more and its yours.

Speaking about vanity plates, has anyone seen Mind of Mancia? He did a bit on vanity plates with racial slurs, every arabic one he tried to do got rejected, but when he tried "WETBACK" it was available, lmfao.
PS - There's no racial jokes meaning to be played here, if you're REALLY offended by the word "WETBACK" I appologize, as he was Mexican and making fun of himself.

3HONKIT fits great for states with 7 like Alabama. If I were to get a plate like that I would get UGO IGO since I usually let ya get the hit first
