View the whole car first before commenting about the wing, overall the car is sweet and the wing (while not my favorite) works great at evening out the lines of the car with the high cowl.

Okay......so this thread went down hill real fast, hince the deletes.........

the whole post is on Export taillights, lets focus on that, and leave the stupid comments to ourselves or I'll shelve this one.......

as for the posters question as to if they are making them still....my 2cents are, I doubt it.....I got a my driver side from a dealer in Cincinnatti that was brand new in box, still sealed in plastic......that could just be your answer to "why it was untouched with no dust on it".........they might just have a few still laying around.........

Here's a link to an auction selling the LED lights, anybody seen these for sale anywhere stateside?

Those are very cool! I'm waiting for a company to come out with LED tail lights for the Camaro. Like they have for the corvette's and almost of the GM SUV's. Led plug in bulbs suck for the rear tail lights I heard from people that have tried that way.

true they might have some laying around but the quality of the plastic between the two was noticable.. like one was made using a cheaper/thinner plastic vs. the one that was clearly used.. but anyways i have some suspision of them still being made by some aftermarket company or something... as long as i can get a set ill be happy is the end of story.. pics as promised:

Some company should make them. I know many would jump on it right away. Just make sure they dont cost a fortune like they do now.

I'd definitely be in. I have wanted a set for a while now but they cost way too much for an appearance mod only.

I am also in Japan and I know for a fact that there are plenty of these tail lights to be had over here I got rear ended last year and had to order a set so I went to the GM dealership and got them no problem, in new packaging.

I just picked up a set of NEW OEM exports on E-bay for $203 shipped from someone here in the states. They have handwritten tags on the back for checking them and one says 12/93 and the other was 3/94. They look exactly like the pics that superchannelkev posted. The back of the housing looks pretty ugly as far as how the lens mates to the black part. They have all the tags on them an the GM stamping on them so they look to be factory original and say made in USA on them. They look so badass on my car!!! I love them!!! There's another set on e-bay now being sold from Japan and the bid is at over $200 and shipping from Japan is $60.

I just got a pair for $260 from some guy in Japan.

He has 100% (73 transactions) feedback rating, so i'm not too concerned about getting screwed.

I used to own a pair about a year ago, in which I sold for $450.

So you're the guy that won the other auction. I thought the price on those would go higher since they were listed as exports. The ones I got were in KY and were brand new and have never been on a car. They weren't listed as exports so that helped keep the price down some. They were only listed as tri-color lights.
