Can anyone please tell me if the mirrors from a 93-97 camaro are the same as the ones from a 98-02 camaro...

Also, how would one go about taking the mirror off?

yes they are the same. Get a phillips screwdriver and take the plastic triangle shaped cover off on the upper inside of your door. It should reveal 3 nuts or bolts that you can unscrew and slide the mirror out. I don't know exactly if its 3 or not but when you take that cover off, it will be self explanitory what needs to be done
