Is this for an aftermarket tach like an Autometer?

Damn dude I'm workin' on it for. Here is a link to the PDF file straight from Autometer's website. Download the 5"Tach with shift light instructions:

http://www.autometer.com/tech_instructions.aspx?sid=8

Everything is pretty self explanatory but the important part that they don't tell you because it's specific to each car is where to tap into the computer for the engine speed.

You will need to tap into the #10 pin on the red Connector C2. It is the connector that is closest to the front of the car. The one closest to the firewall is the blue connector. Take an 18-22 gauge wire tap and find the solid white wire coming out of that connector and tap into it. There are a couple other solid white wires so you'll need to make sure you have the #10 pin by actually pulling out the connector and counting over to 10.

The green wire is the wire that goes to the #10 pin on the PCM.
The ignition wire is red and gets hooked into any hot wire.

If you're talking about the #10 white wire, it's in the engine bay, up near the firewall on the passenger side, look for the PCM (big box with lots of wires coming out of it)
here's the link to the install university article

Pretty sure I just explained that in one of my above posts. You will have to pull the actual connector out of the PCM, that's the computer thingy in the engine bay, and count over to the #10 pin that has a solid white wire connected to it.
