Big thing I worry about with removing the molding is that the paint under them is going to be either NASTY or much whiter than the rest of the car.
I've been leaning toward leaving them there, but painting them to match the car and then clear coating them.
you shouldn't have any thing to worry about with white. i have seen the molding get darker and crappy looking before the paint on the body with white. especially when the rest of the paint is kept in good condition. is it the original paint? if so just take one of the smaller pieces off first. if it looks bad get dome 3M molding and trim tape and put it back on. if it looks good keep on going. i bet it would be a dramatic improvement on your car.

Gorgeous car man
They look alot better without the mouldings, tho I still like the T/A badge on the door myself.
Question for the OP, how the hell did you get the wheels so shiney, mine are slightly dull looking, not bling bling like yours, did you polish them or what

Pipes, I didnt take any pictures of it on the hood. It was just way too over powering on the car for my tastes (red-silver). I think since I tore off the "RAM AIR" decals Im just going to replace them with some HP level decals and see how I like those. It just seems to flow with the car. Like less is more, you know.

And the wheels are Chrome'd, not polished. I'm all about the bling!

ok, I'm gonna do it this week...what do I need and could you write the process up in stupid talk for the idiots out there (me).

Heat gun? would a hairdrier work, if not where do I get one and how much does it cost. How hot do you have to get it, how hard can you pull without hurting it. How long does it take and what exactly do you use to remove excess glue.
Thanks,
I just can't do something that may hurt my car if I don't have a writeup to double check that I'm doing everything perfect, I'm a little obsessive about my car.

Pulled back on them carefully. Used some goo-gone to get the rest of the adhesive off the doors and quarters. I then claybared the area and hit the whole car with some Z2 Pro when I was done. It's really not that hard to do at all. Just take your time and be careful.

I got around to removing the side moldings from my car tonight.

Also replaced the stock Formula logo on the headlight door.

Added a matching logo to the strut bar as well.

Just one more logo to replace.
