i would pull it off but its not screwed on its like pop rivetted or something...its gonna mess up the grille and im not sure i like the look without a grille..

it looks good and it won't mess up anything. my friend just did it to his 00 ss and thats by far the best ext mod imo. just looks a whole lot meaner. esp since you don't have to run a front plate.
