Default Jegs billet coil pack covers

Has anyone seen these or actually used them as of yet?
I think it is a good idea but not sure how they look or fit on the car. Here is a picture of them.

I was thinking of my local polisher guy that did my wheels could get rid of that then go get them anodized red. It would look nice with my Fast fuel rails in red?

I'm changing my setup soon and I've been looking for a way to hide my coil pacs till I can get the valve covers I really want. There is another company that makes a cover for the coil packs... I'll saw it in one of my magazines that I got yesterday. I'll look for it tonight when I get home

I am suprised that more guys arent making their own cover from brushed or polished stainless. Its pretty easy with a sheetmetal brake and sheer. I have seen some nice sets like that for the corvette crowd and I think they look reall nice when they are polished SS, they would be cheap to make too.

I've looked at those but I have enough trouble getting my carbon fiber covers on I think it would be A LOT harder with the metal ones. Can you imagine bending one while you are putting it in. The passanger side would just slide right in but the driver side would have to be put in and mess with the fuel lines to fit on.. PITA

I am thinking about getting the Thunder Racing relocation pack; hides them very well.

Ok I found the magazine but the covers are made for trucks... I don't even know if they will fit an lsX.... I'll see if I can get more info on them.

I made my own coil relocation kit that is similar to the Thunder racing one, I ddin't even need to extend the wiring! Plug and play. I might put a kit together and offer it for sale.

GOOD!
use an electric/air sander with some 80 grit to get down past the crap part, and find someone who can weld GOOD to fill in the holes.

I actually like the idea - I hate seeing the coil packs on the stock engine so I had a custom set of FRC's made to hide them. Of course now I want to add a set of aftermarket fuel rails with the FAST 90 intake so the FRC's will no longer attach correctly.

I don't want to relocate the coils, so I thought I would have to put up with those ugly coil packs again or come up with some way to get the FRC's to attach to the new fuel rails.

These would take care of the problem - fit with the new parts, yet hide the packs.

I do agree that the Jegs logo looks like *** though. I know someone that works in marketing for Jegs - I'll give him a call to see if there would be any possibility of having the mfg. make a choice of logos like 'LS1' or 'WS6' or even 'Trans Am'
