Thought I would chime in, I have a loudmouth and CME, with SLP elbows. My local shop had to do some cutting and welding, but got it to work. It is very hard to get it straight though, mine is as close as we could get, but not perfect. It does have a lot of resonance with headers and no cats, but I love the sound and easily deal with the small rattles. Her is a pic if you didn't catch it in the other thread.

Peace,
Craig.
If SLP will not sell the CME to a non SS car, Call one of the sponsors that sell SLP parts and they can hook you up.

Not to steal the post, but I have the quad tip setup. I want to keep that valence b/c it matches my gfx, but get the dual tips. Would it match up and fill that space okay?

It looks like that valance has a wider opening than the 2 tip CME valance has. You might have around 2" on either side.

FWIW, I bought my CME tips and elbow pipes from SLP...I do have an SS, but they never asked for a VIN #.

Any competent exhaust shop can adapt this setup for you...just buy the tips, valance, and 90 bends. Where there's a will (and a welder), there's a way!

Could someone measure how wide their dual cme tips are, from left corner to right corner, completely across the valence so that I can compare how wide the tips are (the two together) to the four of mine (all four together) so I can see how much of a "fill" difference there would be?

And yours are the dual tip, not the quad tip, correct? Just want to make extra sure before I order! Thanks again!
