Before

After

I was sick of everyone thinking my car was a V6 so hopefully this will fix that. It seems like it may be a little of center but I dont think its crooked or anything.

What do you guys think ?

Looks good! I would agree that it's a little to the right. Considering there is 7 letters in Formula, the middle of the "m" should be pretty much above the keyhole. But you can't tell really!

What steps did you take for removal of the previous lettering? I've been thinking of doing that as mine is fading away. I've been thinking about replacing the center piece, but I have no idea how difficult or easy that may be.

To remove the Firebird lettering I used some nail polish remover which really didnt help all that much and ALOT of Meguiars Scratch-X , but the outline of the firebird is still there, I really didnt want to wet sand it so I just left it, you really cant tell, but other people recommend wet sanding with 2000 grit sandpaper and polishing with plastic polish.

I like it. I CANT STAND V6'ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but yea the very middle of the letter "M" in formula should line up with the middle of the birds head since there's an odd number of letters.

I noticed in the first pics it was off center, but don't be too concerned, most folks won't notice it (we're just a picky bunch )

I just lined the "F"s up not thinking that "Formula" is longer than "Firebird"

This spring I will take it all off the filler and sand it down cuz the little indents were the word firebird was are still there so that will def. drive me nuts. I guess its ok for now though

I know. I'm waiting for the new decal to come in so I can wet sand the filler panel and make it shine again. Looks out of place with the brand new taillights.
