Question Is it just me...

or am I the only one who's driver's seat sheds a pile of foam all over the rear floor mat? Is there any way to fix this before my seat totally disentigrates? Drives me nuts!

My camaro has the same thing happening. I plan on just getting new seats in the future. I'm a pretty big guy, so I guess every time I get in, I slide on the leather pretty hard. Sucks

If it happens to you you wouldnt have to check lol you could tell. Mine does the same thing. Clean the car out and few hours later there is another pile of foam. Would be nice to know how to stop it.

As the foam wears it begins to fall apart. There isn't much you can do. It will just get worse as time goes on.

mine's a '94 so you can imagine the wear and tear my seats have had. Yes, my seat does this also...but i placed a strip of duct tape along where the foam ends...and that's held up for a year and a half now. You can't see the duct tape, and it's a pretty good "fix." But i am going to be replacing my stock leather T/A seats with some Corbeau GTS II's in leather sometime next summer....

Yep, my hawk does this, too.

For those who aren't seeing it shed on the floormat, bend your seat forward as if you were going into the backseat. You'll see some in the bend when the chair is in that forward-position.

Mine's not bad, but it is happening.

Heres a pic of the foam mess, its not that bad now cause I recently vaccumed, but it gets worse! It comes from a gap in the cloth under the plastic that I think is supposed to be there... but I dunno. I gotta try that duct tape idea though, maybe itll work for me!

Learned something today. I have never seen that before, but reading all the post it sounds pretty common.

Does this only happen to the leather seats?
I haven't noticed this with my cloth seats.
I'll have to double-check.
