Thanks, its a working progress. Always seems to be something more to do or something different that I want to do. Too bad the pockets aren't deep enough...haha.

And yes, parbreak did my frcs and lid. They definately help draw a lot of attention.

This is just spray canned and buffed out. Actually kinda matches. U actually can see some little scuffs where the hood rubs.

I have a bunch of pics of my pewter painted colored LID on webshots, follow the link.. The only thing that blows ***, is the fact that the top of the lid scracthes with the hood. And from the looks of some pics in this thread, I see the same thin\g, but I guess we live with it.

Gotta make sure all of the rear tabs are in the slots to keep lid from rubbing on the hood.

I keep on sliding mine back in and then tightening all the band clamps. It stays for a little bit and little by little comes back out. Don't know why. I've messed around with it quite a bit. I've gotten it to a point where it stays, but they still arent all the way slid in. I know the coating of paint/clearcoat is extremely thick on the lid. It seems to play a part in the lid sliding. It slides until its past the painted area and then stops.

Yeah they are ughhh, I will repaint the top and prolly put alot of clear on there. Or maybe some type of material to prevent it from scratching.
