Leather wrapped interior panels??

I was just thinking about re-covering mine (mostly to "fix" the stupid crack) and realized trying to get any type of glue or contact adhesive to stick to the polypropolene plastic the door panels are made of is going to be tough, especially in hot climates. If anyone on this board does upholstering, I would love to learn how to do it.
My friend recently had his headliner done in black suede and the panels along the windows done in black leather. It gives the car a very nice look. I think he paid $300 for the work.

My father does upholstery. From the work we have done I can tell you there there a lot of different glues that will work well. Best thing to do would be to go to a local upholstery supply and see what they have. They should be able to tell you what will work.
Also I was talking to my father about this and he remined me of our old Town Car that we used to have. All the panels were wraped with vinyl from the factory.
