Default Pics of my $2.16 interior mod.

I think these look very good & subtle. They will tie in great with my future guages I am getting & they do go great with my deck thats silver & chrome faced & installed in Brushed Aluminum. Let me know what you think. There are (3) views. Open, Closed, & part way open.

I took the vents apart & painted the inner flaps & the outside slider piece silver. I paid $.99 for the model brushes & $.99 for the silver model paint. I like it cause its not smooth like its been painted. If you see it in person you can still see the original texture of the plastic. Kinda looks like it should have came stock this way from about 3ft. away.

In the future I plan on the Silver MacEwen HVAC/Headlight overlays, Speedo overlays, & all Autometer Silver faced gauges. Hopefully it will look as good as my idea does in my head. If not, I will just start over.

How'd you get those off without breaking them? I recently installed a shift light behind one and had to break the sum bitch.

Looks good though, now vacuum all that damn grass in your car!

There are little tabs in the top & bottom of each vent ring. The outer ring comes off first. They are located in the center(behind the slider post). Once those come off the vent louvers just snap out of their clips. Then just paint & reinstall. Be very careful though. I would suggest doing one vent at a time, reason being each vent has to go back in the same hole. They are not all the same.

Seein as how it was not over done in my case & I didn't use bright colors or paint the entire interior all out of control, it's not ricey. There is a thin line between ricey & painted accents. Obvisously I know that line & you haven't a clue. Maybe one day you will learn individuality is a good quality. Something you lack.

I could care less to what you do to your vehicle man. Its yours and you make the payment. I leave the **** alone if it dont make me faster. Oh Mistake I take that back I got me a set of rice export lights that my friend found for 150 bucks shipped. So I do have ricer mods on my car they were GM issue though. --Laters.

Thats cool. I just hate it when someone implys that a nice subtle interior mod is "ricey" just cause its painted. I can see how over duing it & using loud colors is considered "ricey". Thats the only pieces in my entire car that I will ever do that to. Now I need my overlays & gauges for my pillar. Then it will all tie in together.

A friend of a friend in germany I think. Don't ask me how he found it he just did. I guess it was a PITA for him to get ahold of it. I dunno how much it cost him he just said 150 and we are good. I hope its not hot. Took him a long time since May.
