But that combo (32mm hollow front and 21mm rear) is a bit tight. A better combo is the 32mm solid front and 21mm rear. SLP made a 35mm or some crazy **** later on I think, didn't they offer that as an option?
Thats why I was asking. I pulled my swaybars off and measured them. My 2001 SS has 35mm hollow front and 21mm rear (solid). But I have the Bilstein option.

Peace,
Craig.

Must be nice, I got the Bilstein suspension on my car from SLP too, they didn't have those sway bars as the bars of choice in '99 I got every SLP option in my year, and I think I have a couple left on it now

Yes, it is total posing. My personal opinion (and we all know what those are like) but I hate cloning! I think make the car a bad-*** Z28, because that is what it's pedigree is. I see so many people out there cloning 1st and 2nd gen Camaros and now people are starting to clone the HELL out of 4th Gen Z28s and calling them SS cars. One kid in particular had a '97 Z28 and tried to pass it off as a SS car at a local car show... total lying to win a trophy!
Call it what it is... a Z28.

What if you change or mod one of the particular parts that make it an SS or WS6, should you then take the badging off then?

No,you shouldn't.Unless you want to go for a clean "de-badged" look.

Plain simply because it IS an SS.Even if you changed everything over to Z28 spec,it is STILL an SS and it would be incorrect to display Z28 badges...again,plain and simply because according to its RPO codes and VIN#,its an SS.But like always,if you gotta have the badges on there, its your car and nobody can stop you from putting them on...

Just an opinion...we all seem to have one on this subject heh?

joblo1978,

Nice TA man...I like the look of the ZO6s on the TAs...My brother lives over in the area (Arvada)...He drives a black Firehawk TA.He just moved up there this year...Throw him a rev if you see him!

Total posing, I bought a Z because I wanted a Z, not an SS. I have my views about what an SS is and what a Z is. True, you could put SS badges on there, it's your car, but it is the same as advertising it as an SS without a word being spoken. True Camaro enthusiests will detect a clone upon further inspection but who's going to stop you to look, nobody. I myself would feel funny driving around in a car that people percieve me to have but in reality don't, I would be a poser in my mind. I think people should be a proud of the Z-28 heritage, afterall, it was the Z-28 with the 302 CI that gave Camaro name recognition throughout the states in the Trans Am circuit during the 1st Gen years.

Wow. I wish the original poster would have just made a "Yes" or "No" poll.

If you want to put SS badges on it - do it. Do whatever you want to your car as long as it doesn't involve driving it into mine. If you wanna - install SS badges, put dodge superbee hoodscoops on the roof pointing sideways, some bull horns on the trunk lid, paint the thing pink and tell me it's a Viper I'm cool with that too. I don't personally give a damn cuz it's your car. Change the badges, mod the hell out of it, have fun and I hope your girlfriend appreciates it/you!
