ANyway to fix, without replacing? Ok this is the hood of my 2000 Camaro... as you can see the dents from those signs that people put in the yards for houses for sale.. well a city mower ran over one and it flew up and hit the hood... so here's the damage.
Now if you are looking at the front of the car, the damage is about 5 inches above the middle of the left headlight...so a cowl induction wouldnt even cover it up...

get a police report. call the police and tell them that a city mower threw something and it your car and you need a police report. my girl hit a hole in the road and it messed her rim and tire up and we had to get one before they would pay. good luck with it. also go get a couple estimates to send in with it. the reason i say get a couple that way you can send in the highest dollar amount one in

You might be able to have the dent pulled out by a paintless dent repair shop, but the messed up paint would still be there. That all depends if they can get in behind the dent from the underside of the hood.
