Try drying off a black car in the florida sun.. not fun.. I find the biggest towel and dry it off as fast as I can.. I find the key is to get the car as wet as you can before you dry it off.. it gives my car an awesome shine.

The Mr Clean also uses a special soap with a "dry rinse" polymer in addition to filtering the water for the final rinse. It makes a difference too. I ran out of the soap that came with it and I put in the Eagle One soap I normally use. It didn't dry the same and I still had water spots. I bought more Mr Clean soap and it worked fine. It's well worth the cost to me to not have to spend another hour detailing the car trying to get out all the water spots. Depending how thick you put on the soap you might see it look a little dull when dry. I just go over it with detail spray and it brings the shine right back.

How the heck does a water blade leave scratches??? Unless your car is still dirty or you have dirt stuck to it it won't scratch the car. I have had it leaf silicone marks if I drag the end of it across the car wrong. I have NEVER had it scratch. It's less likely to scratch than a towel is. Did you buy a knock off or do you have the original California Car Company one? I've only ever used the CCC one.

California Water Blade + The Asorber. Use a cotton towel to dry the wheels.

I agree with you. I live in South Florida and I know exactly what you mean. It's like hurry up rinse and dry off the car as fast as you can. I wash my car with Maguiars Gold Class soap and then either dry off with chamois or a big cotton towel. The heat here in Florida is killer...

I use Eagle One Wet Shine detailer spray. That along with Eagle One's micro fiber towels. I might try the Zaino detailer spray next though. Another guy with a black car showed me that in direct sunlight on an already hot black car it doesn't leave any streaks. Eagle One does leave streaks if it's hot and you don't get it fully wiped off.

The waterblade + cotton towels for me. If you use the waterblade properly, you will never scratch your car. Go for a quick drive, then microfiber + quick detail spray and the nbm shines.
