i wanted to get everyone's opinion on this, look at my Y pipe and consider my wheels / size. do you think it would be wise to lower the car or should i leave it be?

Leave it. Clearance problems suck. If you want a lowered stance, put some ground effects on it.

Definetly I lowered my trans am and i scrape on damn near EVERYTHING, also i saw a Z/28 today the same color as yours with the same Z06 rims but chrome and it had a MEAN body kit on it that would make ur Camaro stand out SO much more, but you cant beat the lowered look.
