I'm not sure how big they actually are. I live in a smaller town and seeing a vette period is kinda of uncommon. So if anyone knows where they can get some measurements of how big this piece is and then I will go from there. Last auction the tip sold for $81 something and they want $15 !! to ship it.

I believe whom ever created that exhaust, designed it to be used as in the first pic beacuse of the cut back. In the second pic, the cutback on the bottom is longer which causes the exhaust to go up with no protection and hit the bumper. If you look at any tips, if there is a cut back, the top is always longer than the bottom.

Thanks to everyone that thinks it may be a good idea, kinda makes me wanna do it even more. I actually figured someone would post and show me some pics that it already had been done, but I guess not. I should do it just for that reason.

I have a magazine with them installed on a vette somewhere around here, If I find it I will scan the pic and post it up. Haven't talked to my Vero buddy in a while and didn't find anypics from his car

heres a decent photoshop, i used ls1ss car, heres a before and after.

if that tip was more flashy like chrome or something it would look better in my chop job.
i think those tips would need t be modified a bit to fit between the valence, they seem very far apart.
