On a red SS, check this out, white sail panel, white rear v-panel, and a white manta over the hood scoop. Open your mind and think about it before you reply with a puking icon LOL!

Red looks alright, but, with your windows tinted and red mirrors the black sail panel flows a heck of alot better than the red sail panel. I have to agree in part with thunderstruck, I've seen red with black mirrors and it just doesn't look good, just my humble opinion.

I say keep it black. And while you're at it, something subtle and different would be to change all of the red up on the actual T part of the roof to black as well.

You can pretty much go either way and it will look great.

I say black if you want it to look sleek, red if you want to stand out and be more original.

For some reason the black sail panel makes the car looks longer than what actually is, especially on pics...does it makes sense what I'm saying?

I would go with black just because I like the way that looks. Scotty-Z said exactly what I was thinking: Black for long and sleek look.

I have a silver z28 and painted the panel. I think it looks really good and breaks up the all black spaceship look.

If you just paint it, the bubbles will be back, ...
See if they'll go halvsies on it for ya, better than nothing, ...
Or find the number for any area GM manager & givethem hell, ...
When they denied before, did they all have the TSB in hand?

But my vote went for the red layout, I haven't seen it much like that, ...

i voted for black...but i just cant make up my mind. mine is black with blacked out windows and i really like that look. a few guys described it as having a longer look to the car...and i agree. but on the other hand i see cars with it red and sometimes i think that looks better. same thing goes for the mirrors. sometimes i look at my black mirrors and hate them...then the next day i love them. i guess i worry too much about what my car looks like lol.

heres a pic of my car with black...and tint and lowered. definitely gives it a LONG look
