When I got my first fbody It was when I was 16. Used to be sisters but she uped for the ws6 - which meant I was given his six. Wasnt that bad since i used to run a 94 nissan sentra so I was happy for awhile. I did use her ws6 stock muffler when she slapped on flows but I recently cut that **** off for bigger plans. But I never stuck on Trans am badges or ws6 badges. Haha its like those foos who put on DOHC VTEC on a civic that doesnt have it, or worse Type R on everything Haha. but yeah, even when I plan on doing an ls1 swap, I'm going to leave it firebird badges - just makes it more of a sleeper Haha.

I know aguy who did the opposite
He slapped V6 badges and stock painted wheels on his all forged and a 200 shot Direct port
quiet exhaust
man it was funny watching guys in cars that normally would probably beat a v6, get spanked and then wonder what happened.
lol

I think a camaro looks naked without badges. To me it just doesn't look right.
Though before I got my z28, I felt a z28 looks naked without the SS hood. Which is why I wanted a SS but ended up with a z28, but I would not and do not plan on putting on a SS hood or badges though I think a SS looks lots meaner then a z28.

This reminds me of the time I won $20 off a buddy. I had a 93 formula with the old slashed script "Formula V8" stickers on the doors.
Guy asked to race, I smoked him.
He said "I thought those said Formula V6".
lol.
V6 meandering as a V8? Totally lame.
V8 meandering as a V6? Kickass.

Your Camaro was most likely classified similarily based on power to weight as the seday(4 door coupe?), hence the similar rate.

Hell, mine is a debadged Z28, and I get people all the time thinking that it's a V6. I like it, because I like surprising people. What I don't get is how people still think that it's a six when I crank the car up. I've got duals with Sweet Thunders.
I don't like people badging a car as something it's not, but there's nothing wrong with DE-badging a car to f with people. To each their own.

i have got a v6... I would NEVER think about putting z28 badges on them... False advertisment not to mention just wrong... I do have badges on my car tho but they say RS Now theres nothing wrong with having a v6 either. I wanted a fbody and i had to settle with this as my first car... and i love more than anything else. Not to mention Im a 19 year old college kid... and yes theres a HUGE difference in ins rates for a z28 and v6
