cleaning headlights
cleaning headlights you know that some headlights get all cloudy and nasty looking after some time. Over the weekend i detailed my sisters 2000 celica. her headlights were all nasty. cloudy and the beam barly came through.
So i used meguiars cleaner wax and a buffer and it worked. it took all the build up that was on the headlight off. When i was done they were bran new.
I wish i had my digtail camera with me to show you the before and after pictures. but it worked great.
dont know if anyone has done this or didnt know. id like to pass on this info on to you so you dont have to spend hundreds on new headlights if you dont have to..
I even did this to my girls saturn and we saw a big diffrence in the brightness.

I used a $0.99 packet of Meguiares plastic polish on mine and compared to what I had previously used it helped greatly. I still probably have to go get new lenses but @ least now you can somewhat see the whistler mod and the beams.
Dont use the Permatex kit from A-zone tho. That FUBARD mine beyond belief!

It's amazing the difference that the polish can make on these plastic lenses. I've seen some real cloudy horrible looking Camaro lights that look amazing after a bit of elbow grease.
