Default Thinking about stripes..

I have my 99 T/A without a ramair hood. All of my accents are red with the car being black. I am thinking about putting two solid red stripes on the hood but was wondering if anyone had any pics of it that color? I already have two red birds on the B-pilar, my emblems are red, and most everything I can touch on the outside is accented red. The black/red scheme looks really awesome in my opinion but I dont know if the stripes on the hood would over do it.

I found one on here that I really liked the stripes but it is blue/white. What do you guys think?

They look good on that car, but since everything else on yours is red already, I think the big red stripes on the hood would make it look overdone

Yea, I was afraid it would be a little over the top but wasn't too sure. I guess the only way to really tell is to have them laid out across the hood. I love the red/black scheme and it is very very rarely used around where I am from.

I think doing a smaller red stripe more like this would be better for it not looking overdone.

I really dont like stripes on the trans ams without Ramair hoods. I think that they really look like they are trying to hide the fact that the car doesnt have a Ramair hood, instead of embrace the fact that they have left it stock, which is rather rare around me.
Just my $.02

Those stripes look great! Who makes those? As for your car, I'd have to agree adding stripes would probably overdo it in your case. That's only because of the combo choice. I think if you had a red T/A and wanted to add black stripes it would probably be ok. JMO.

Yea, I guess I will pass on the stripes. If I can save up enough money I will try and get the VFN ram air hood sometime soon.
