Started Working with some Carbon Fiber in the interior...teaser
Hey guys,
Well after talkin to Chad about it, I deicded I would give it a try, and started wrapping a few pieces in Carbon. I'll get more pics over Thanksgiving break, should have the majority of things done....

Yeah it does. I already have my shifter panel, my console lid, and both power window panels covered, but I want to redo everything except the shifter panel cause the rest was my first try and they came out ok but they could be better. Then I have a bunch of really custom ideas that no one has done before and I'm really anxious to get it done so I can be the first lol.

k, can anyone explain why people liek carbon fiber so much? i just dont get it
i can understand the weight part but its really not much to look at what ist he attraction, and why just a peice here or there rather than doignt he whole thing (hood for example)
im just curious, and i figure a carbon fiber threat with alot of people checking it out woudl be a good place to ask.
and as for those peices, they look very nicely done

Why do just a few pieces at a time, well first CF (at least the real CF) is still fairly expensive, so not many can afford to do the whole thing in one shot, and second if you're doing the body panels, you can't always get the panels you want, I only know of the hood being made as far as f body parts

and as for not always getting the panels etc. etc. it jsut makes the car look mismatched imho, kinda liek throwing on a single black sock with a white tux
i was personally considering getting a 3rd gen bird and making bolds of all the body panels and anything else that(is painted) can be made from cf stably
drop aforged ls 7 in it, various other perfornce parts(like a turbo), paint it to look stock, and have a true sleeper. how many 7 second third gens have you seen
unrealistic goal, i know, but fun to joke around about.
