Default Well, somebody was gonna do it !!

I decided to pull out the 3.5" Denny's Metal Matrix driveshaft and polish it !! I was just messing around this weekend with cleaning the car and thought what the H*ll.........

looks like something i would do....u know polish my shaft..anyways how much did that driveshaft cost you and why did you buy it...is it a custom length....did your car not come with an aluminum driveshaft????

I had to replace the stock cheesy LT1 (1996) driveshaft when I put my MOSER 12 bolt in the car. I did have to measure the length of the driveshaft, but I don't believe it was a custom length. I believe the driveshaft was $649 and I think I paid $550 delivered for the item. It is a mix of aluminum and metal, suppose to be stronger than the straight aluminum and as strong as the Nitrous steel shaft and very little weight. I believe it only weighs 6lbs ? It is also 3.5"


I used FLITZ to get the finish to shine....

Looks very professional, It's actually a very nice driveshaft to begin with. Very smooth black color.
