im pretty sure these doors are a universal kit made by VDC (vertical door company) These doors ive heard arent really all that great because they go partially out like normal doors and then up which look more like a gullwing door, plus they use one strut instead of 2 to hold the door up. There is a company called GT factory that makes a better kit that will allow the door to go completely vertical or out, you can adjust it. About 2 years back i called the guys over there and they told me that they didnt make one for the trans am but if i came up with i believe it was either 10 or 20 people (cant remember) then theyd make the kit for me. Ive seen them on cameros (which just didnt look good on the camero!!) and many vettes but first time on a trans am. I think it looks okay but it would look much better with the gt factory kit.

That's actually a real nice t/a aside from it being a convertable,(just my opinion). But I like the tt2's and the shaved emblems, door handles and shaved antenna. The doors are alright, I would definatly put the money into the motor before I put it into the doors.

OK, I just took that mod off my list of possible future mod to my car. That car simply cannot pull the verticle door thing off. From that one side pic you can see that it would be a PAIN to try to get out of. From the inside they probably look somewhat like a guillotine waiting to come down on your leg... LOL
There O.k. They would look good on a show car. But for a daliy driver Nah. I saw a kid at the local mall this weekend in a S-10 that had that kit. This dumb *** was driving through the parking lot with them up. It was like 30 degrees out. I just wanted to go slap him.
