I remember doing that with my truck. next morning I was freaking out because I was almost late.....d'oh!

the freezing of water sux, cause you can't do alot with it.
and washing with hot water doesn't help, because it is soft water, and will freeze almost as fast. not to mention taking off the wax.

I washed my Trans Am on Saturday and it was 38 degrees out. I used water from the outdoor faucet, but filled my buckets inside with hot water so my hands didn't get numb. Worked pretty good. The biggest pain in the *** was trying to put the hose away... they get pretty stiff when it's that cold and don't want to roll up.

But yeah, if it's warm enough that the water won't freeze on the car, I'll wash it.... but only if the car is really dirty and needs a bath bad.

Too cold? For me that's about 40 degrees, no wind. I washed my car last winter and everything froze before I could rinse it... soap sud and all.

In Minnesota, we stop washing at absolute zero. It goes from hotter than hell in the summer to insanely cold in the winter. The other state that requires both AC and heat in the same day. It got to -60 last winter in the North.

15 Degrees Farenheit. You wash it, rinse it, jump in it and blast down the road before it all freezes. If youre lucky, you will only have ice on the back half of the car. If not, good luck seeing where youre going, and getting out.

I normally just pull it in the garage (unheated), wash it, dry it, wax it, and pull it out, squeege the water out, and pull it back in... Works good for me even on a cold *** day!

I do the same for my motorcycle, but the motorcycle never leaves the garage in this weather!

If the water can come out of the hose it is warm enough. I have washed a car with gloves on once or twice in my day.

I go to the car wash and wash the car even when it is below zero, I dry it off, as well as inside the doors to make sure they dont freeze shut and I am good to go, I don't let cold weather keep my car dirty..winter time is when it needs to be washed the most.

I've washed my car while it was snowing on me a few times. Easier to wash in the rain/snow...I agree that if the water can come out of the hose its warm enough LOL...I never take my car to pressure washer, strickly by hand, but I'd think that pressure washer+ice=bad.
